We took our 19 year old cat in and they said there was amass in her abdomen. Very operable and the cat is in great health other than that.
Surgery would be $2000 to $4000. They were going to do x rays before they did surgery to make sure everything else was fine and call us before the surgery if they found anything.
They did the surgery and removed the mass without any issue. However the day after the surgery they read the x ray. They found an enlarger heart and told us that the must be why the cat's blood preasure is off the chart.
This was most likely the cause of the issues the cat was having and there was nothing they could do about it.
OH, the Surgery bill was $5000.00.
